This article covers everything you need to know about Bespoke Strategies on Markup.club — before you subscribe, during payment and activation, once your plan is live, and if you ever need to cancel.
1. What's the difference between Swing Select Equity, Swing Select Derivatives, and Swing Select Collection?
Swing Select Equity and Swing Select Derivatives are individual, standalone strategies. Swing Select Collection is a combo plan that bundles both together. You are never required to buy the Collection — you can subscribe to Equity only, Derivatives only, or both individually. However, if you're interested in participating in both the equity and F&O segments, Collection is the natural choice, since it works out significantly cheaper than buying Equity and Derivatives separately.
2. Do you offer annual plans for Bespoke?
No. Bespoke plans are available on monthly and quarterly subscriptions only.
3. Can I hold a Bespoke plan and a Model Portfolio at the same time?
Yes. There's no restriction on holding both together — they run independently of each other.
4. How many positions does Swing Select Derivatives run, and what's the margin requirement?
The strategy runs 10 trades at a time. Margin requirement typically ranges between ₹50,000 and ₹1,00,000 per trade, depending on the exchange margin requirement and the hedge, which brings the effective margin down.
5. What is the suggested capital for each strategy?
Swing Select Equity:
Runs 10 trades at a time with an equal ticket size suggested. Since these are equity trades, you have full freedom to choose your participation amount, but we recommend a minimum ticket size of ₹1,00,000 per trade. Ideal total capital: ₹10 lakhs.
Swing Select Derivatives: Runs 10 trades at a time, with margin per trade between ₹50,000 and ₹1,00,000. Ideal total capital: ₹10 lakhs.
6. What is the stock universe for each strategy?
7. Why are F&O stocks excluded from some strategies?
Every strategy has a defined stock universe, and recommendations are picked only from within that universe. Since Swing Select Equity's universe is Nifty 500 excluding F&O names, those stocks won't appear in its recommendations — they're covered separately under Swing Select Derivatives instead.
8. Which brokers do you support for trade execution?
We currently support: Angel One, Zerodha, ICICI Direct, Upstox, Kotak Securities, HDFC Securities, Dhan, Alice Blue, Fyers, Groww, Axis Securities, Arihant Capital, and Definedge Securities.
A note on execution experience: Zerodha, Dhan, Fyers, and Groww have simple, streamlined integrations where orders flow smoothly. Definedge Securities has decent uptime overall, though some users have reported occasional connectivity issues. Across the remaining supported brokers — Angel One, ICICI Direct, Upstox, Kotak Securities, HDFC Securities, Axis Securities, Alice Blue, and Arihant Capital — we've received a higher number of issue reports, particularly around executing Model Portfolio trades. So if smooth, low-friction execution is a priority for you, the first group is worth considering.
9. What if my broker isn't in the supported list, or I don't want to connect a broker at all?
That's completely fine. The research and trade recommendations you receive — entry, exit, stop-loss, and trailing target updates — are entirely independent of broker connectivity. Whether or not you connect a broker, you'll continue to receive every trade trigger on the app, web platform, email, and WhatsApp. Broker connectivity only enables one-click execution from within the app; without it, you can still place trades manually with your own broker using the same trade details.
10. I've subscribed to Swing Select Equity/Derivatives, but my broker account doesn't have the F&O segment activated. What do I do?
Simply apply for F&O segment (NFO) activation with your broker — most brokers offer a quick online process for this. In the meantime, this doesn't affect what you receive from us: trade recommendations are shared irrespective of your broker's segment activation status, so you won't miss any signals while your segment activation is pending.
11. Can I see your past performance or win rate before subscribing?
As a SEBI-registered Research Analyst, our trade recommendations are independently tracked and verified through CARE PaRRVA — an agency nominated by SEBI specifically to monitor and validate the performance of registered research analysts and intermediaries. This ensures the numbers you see are third-party verified rather than self-reported. Performance and risk disclosures for both Model Portfolios and Bespoke Strategies are tentatively expected to go live on the CARE PaRRVA website from December 20, 2026. We'll update this article with the direct link as soon as they're published.
12. Why am I not getting access instantly after paying?
Access timing depends on your payment method:
If you paid via card or net banking and it's been under 72 business hours, there's nothing to worry about — it's simply the bank processing. If it crosses that window, reach out to our support team and we'll sort it out.
13. Money was deducted from my bank account, but the plan hasn't activated. What happened?
If the amount was deducted but hasn't reached us, the payment is likely still in transit somewhere in the financial system — between the payment gateway, your bank, and us. This typically resolves within 3–7 days, either by reaching us (upon which your plan will be activated) or by being reversed back to your source account by your bank. If it doesn't resolve within that window, please reach out to your bank directly, since this stage of the transaction sits with them.
14. I get an "Unable to start payment" error mentioning a mandate — what does that mean?
This happens when a payment attempt for the same plan has been closed or exited before completing, typically after three or more such attempts. As a safety measure, the payment gateway pauses further attempts until it can confirm there's no conflict from the earlier incomplete ones. No money is deducted and no mandate is created when you see this message. Simply wait 24 hours and retry — the incomplete attempts clear automatically in that time. If it persists after that, email us at markup.support@markupclub.zohodesk.in.
15. How do I get my GST invoice?
You'll be prompted to enter your GSTIN on the payment page at the time of subscribing. To download your invoice afterward:
16. When are trade signals sent?
Signals are sent during market hours only — never overnight or after market hours. That said, Bespoke signals aren't sent on a fixed schedule; they're pushed to you the moment they're generated.
All entry triggers are based on technical chart patterns — we continuously track breakouts, pullbacks, and market rhythm to identify when a genuine buy or sell signal forms. Since this depends entirely on live market movement, we can't predict in advance exactly when a trigger will fire. The moment one is generated, it's pushed to you immediately.
So while signals can technically arrive at any point during market hours, in practice most of your activity will be concentrated in the morning window, with stop-loss updates coming later in the day.
17. How do derivative trade recommendations work?
Derivative recommendations come as a Limit Order with a hedge, placed as a Basket Order.
18. Do I need to click for every trade, even if I'm subscribed to multiple strategies?
Yes. Execution is one click per trade. If you're subscribed to more than one strategy, each trade still appears as its own trade card, and you accept and place each one individually — there's no single click that executes trades across multiple strategies at once.
19. My order got rejected — do I place it manually, or does the system retry?
Order rejections most commonly happen due to insufficient funds in your broking account. Add the required funds, then return to the app and click "Trade Now" (for Equity trades) or "Accept Basket" (for Derivative trades) again. The system never places orders automatically on your behalf — every trade requires your explicit action, which is why accepting the basket or clicking "Trade Now" is a mandatory step.
20. If a stock exits my portfolio, do I need to manually fill that slot?
No. You don't need to track open slots or hunt for past triggers to fill them yourself:
21. I missed a trade signal and didn't open the app in time — what happens?
Since Bespoke Strategies are built for an active trading mindset, we assume you're tracking the market regularly. Every signal is sent across multiple channels — app notification, email, WhatsApp, and the web platform — so you have several ways to catch it. If a trade card isn't actioned within 3 days of being sent, the system treats it as a rejected trade, and it will no longer be actionable after that window.
22. Does my plan auto-renew?
Yes. When you subscribe, an e-mandate is set up for recurring payment. On the last day of your subscription period, the next cycle's payment is automatically collected, and your plan renews without any action needed from you.
23. Can I pause my subscription (e.g., if I'm travelling or want a break)?
No, subscriptions cannot be paused. Once active, the plan runs continuously for the full subscription period.
24. Can I upgrade or switch plans mid-cycle (e.g., monthly to quarterly, or Equity to Collection)?
No, plan changes aren't possible mid-cycle. This is because the payment mandate is created specifically for the plan you initially subscribed to. If you'd like to switch, you can do so once your current subscription period ends — at which point you're free to subscribe to the new plan or duration of your choice.
25. Are Bespoke subscriptions refundable?
Research services are non-refundable once activated.
26. What happens if I cancel mid-cycle?
Your access remains active for the full period you've already paid for — cancellation doesn't cut off your current access early. What it does is disable the auto-renewal mandate, so you won't be charged when the current cycle ends, and the subscription simply won't renew.
