Keeping Your Zerodha Session Active on Markup.club

This applies only if Zerodha is your broker. Ticking one checkbox during login saves you from repeated login prompts for the rest of your session.

Where You Will See This
  • This appears on the Zerodha login screen when you connect or reconnect your Zerodha account to Markup.
  • Below the password field, you will see a checkbox labeled "Login to Kite Web also?" with a note underneath: "Not recommended on shared or public systems."

What to Do

  • Tick the "Login to Kite Web also?" checkbox before you tap Login.
  • That is the only extra step, everything else about connecting Zerodha stays the same.

Why This Matters
  • Your Zerodha session window runs from 6 AM to 6 AM the next day.
  • Ticking this checkbox keeps you logged in for that entire window, so you will not be asked to re-login or re-authenticate while placing orders during the day.
  • Without it, you may see repeated login prompts that can interrupt or delay placing a trade.

A Few Things to Keep in Mind
  • Zerodha's own note on this screen says this option is not recommended on shared or public systems, since it keeps you logged into Kite Web as well. On a personal device, this is generally fine.
  • If you already connected Zerodha without ticking this box, simply disconnect and reconnect once with the box ticked, there is no need to do this more than once.
