How to connect your broker on Markup.club

How Do I Connect My Broker on Markup.club?

Connect your broker to place trades directly from Markup.club recommendations.

How to Connect:

1. Go to Broker Settings from the side menu.
2. Tap Connect Broker.

3. Select your broker from the list: AngelOne, Zerodha, ICICI, Upstox, Kotak, HDFC, Dhan, AliceBlue, and more.

4. Follow the on-screen steps for your broker to complete the connection.

Example: Connecting Definedge Securities

  1. Step 1: Claim your dedicated static IP. SEBI regulations require Definedge Securities to only accept orders from a whitelisted IP, and Markup assigns you one that isn't shared with other users.
  2. Step 2: Create an app on Definedge Securities and generate your API key and secret.
  3. Step 3: Enter your API key and secret to complete the connection.

Tap Watch Walkthrough on this screen for a 2-minute video showing the Definedge connection process step by step.

A Few Things to Keep in Mind

- Until a broker is connected, your trade card shows Broker Not Connected, and Trade Now and Add to Cart stay disabled.

  1. You act independently on the broker platform.
  2. You can tap Continue Without Connecting Broker to browse recommendations without placing trades yet.
