Every stock recommendation on Markup.club includes an Advised Range, the price band suited for entry. Your trade card shows different information depending on whether the live price is inside or outside this range.
Note: The 'Ready to Trade' tag shows when your broker account is connected. It is not related to the Advised Range and appears in both states below as long as your broker is linked.
When the Price Is Inside the Advised Range:
When the market price sits inside the Advised Range, you will see:
- The BUY button is active.
- The Trade Now button is active, used to place the order.
- The Add to Cart button is active, used to save the stock to your cart instead of trading immediately.
- The Advised Range is shown, for example ₹617.5 - ₹619.5.
This is the state you want. It means you can place the trade at, or very close to, the price we recommended.
When the Price Moves Out of the Advised Range
Prices move fast. If a stock runs past the top of the range, or drops below it, before you place the order, the card changes to warn you:
- A red message appears: "Price is out of advised range."
- The BUY button turns grey and cannot be used.
- The + Add to Cart button also turns grey and gets disabled.
- The Advised Range and Stop Loss stay the same. They do not move just because the price did.
Why This Happens?
Markup.club disables Buy and Add to Cart once the price moves outside the Advised Range, so you don't place an order at a price we haven't reviewed.
A Few Things to Keep in Mind
- Advised Range and Stop Loss are fixed when the call is published. They don't update with the live price.
- The price can move back into range later in the session.
- Trade Now still works for a manual order outside the range, entered at your own discretion.
- Tap View More to read the Rationale for the call.
